Aly + Neal
I had the pleasure of helping a dear friend of mine plan her beautiful large fall wedding. The couple wanted a simple rustic yet elegant wedding that showcased the vibrant fall colors. Aly and Neal were lucky enough to have the perfect ceremony venue right in their backyard. The location was picturesque, with luscious green grass, a beautiful pond, and woods surrounding the ceremony—it was the perfect spot for a fall wedding!
The ceremony had many personal touches. Neal built the doors Aly walked through before coming down the aisle from old barn wood. As the doors opened and Aly made her grand entrance with her Father, I couldn’t help but watch Neal’s retraction, his smile exuded joy, love, excitement, and awe – The look every bride dreams of! The couple said their vows under a beautiful trellis built by Neal and Neal’s father performed the ceremony. Guests sat on hay bales wrapped in fabric, adding the perfect rustic touch. Every part of their ceremony showed true gestures of love and family. Everything a wedding should be about!
For the reception we headed to a banquet hall large enough to hold the couples 300 guests!! Aly choose a variety of centerpieces which added much needed drama to the large space. The tables were fashioned with fall leaves and candles, continuing their rustic elegant theme. From the “Sweet Love” honey sticks as favors to the surprising Father-Daughter dance, Aly and Neal’s wedding had an abundance of personal elements. The night was full of love, laughter, and music! Three of the most important components to a successful and beautiful wedding!
Congratulations Aly and Neal!
