Cooking Class Bridal Shower
For the foodies! What would be better than a shower all about food and wine? With none of the silly bridal shower games we have all played a thousand times. Not only will your guests be instructed to bring gifts related to cooking/the kitchen and a bottle of wine, but you and your guests will also learn how to cook too!
A company called Parties that Cook with a location in Seattle allows you to customize your event from cooking competitions to a four course meal. No matter the style you choose the menu will highlight seasonal and local ingredients. Host the party at your home or rent a kitchen! Cook a delicious dish and savor the meal at the shower. This party will be sure to please all ages and a shower people will remember.
Decorations will have all the accents of a kitchen. Cutting boards for the place settings with menus attached. A guest book of white platters guests can write messages on and the couple can hang on their wall later with vintage patterned plates. Centerpieces will be a combination of seasonal vibrant fruit and vegetables and the party favors will be a small homemade treat.
Sweet and Spicy Bridal Shower
Traditional mixed with a little new. The concept is like that of a good marriage. Everything from the food, drinks, decorations, guest’s attire, and gifts will all surround this modern and unique bridal shower theme. Send out invitations in a box with spicy red chilies and sweet pink rock candy. Inside each box have a card designating the guests as sweet or spicy. Ask them to wear red if they are spicy and pink if they are sweet along with a coordinating gift for the bride.
At the shower, as the guests arrive have them put on a sweet or spicy name tag. Have the tables dressed in white table cloths with pink and red napkins and matching pink and red centerpieces. Each place setting will have party favors of cinnamon and cayenne spices. The food will be a combination of sweet and spicy h’ordeuvres and cocktails to match.
Green Themed Bridal Shower
For the bride who loves gardening and crafting. This party will combine both her loves with a flower arrangement class. You can still add all the wonderful touches of a garden party – the potted flowers and herb centerpieces, gardening and crafty tools as gifts, summery beverages in mason jars, finger food, edible flowers and plants for desert, and burlap and lace linen with hints of pastel colors. Oh and don’t forget the coordinating invitations with small packs of seeds sent to each guest.
